Chang Shanghai (born in 1996, Phnom Penh, Cambodia) lives and works in Phnom Penh. He graduated with a BA in Fashion Design and Photography from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. His practice includes experimental and conceptual fashion design, photography, experimental film, video art, and installation. He is co-founder and visual artist at Homeless Artists Collective. He was in creative residency at Kon Len Khnom Art Space (2018). His solo exhibition Dancer in the Dark, Creative Generation Awardee, Java Creative Café, Phnom Penh (2017). Shanghai has been exhibited Talking Texture, Sra’art Studio, Phnom Penh (2021); Sa Sa Art Projects Fundraising Auction & Exhibition, Factory Phnom Penh (2020); The New Apsaras + More Than Human, The Plantation – Urban Resort, Phnom Penh (2019); FIELDS: PHNOM PENH, Festival/Tokyo – Curated by Dana Langlois, Tokyo, Japan (2018).y’s largest lake and river system.
